No time for physics!

The poster offered a bounty of two hundred million gold for the player killer, Wyrm, a really vicious Steam Knight  with an intense passion to fight newbies. As for a level seventy-two Gun Mage, it'll be a walk in the park especially solo. The guild have been busy dealing with some new members, especially. Thankfully, I know a good map that can serve as an excellent vantage point. Fayte knows I need this job, with the sudden inflation on item prices it's going to be a pain to craft some new items. My market hasn't been exactly booming lately.

As if a sign from God, my messenger began beeping insanely.

Hey dumbass,
We're gonna raid Fortune Peak in about twenty minutes, don't bitch out this time! I hear that orange items have been raining over there.

Love,
SkaryMan

SkaryMan, one of my guild mates and personal pain in the ass. He's a level sixty Steam Knight, and his love of raiding can only be evened out by his love of memes. His Mohawk hairstyle and his purple glowing neo-Victorian suit isn't really hard to miss either. The raiding sessions have been coming in often, I guess because of the sudden influx of events. A lot of players have been raking in the mounts and epic armor. I haven't been able to get anything since I've been stuck on my essay deadlines. My time has been stretched thin, but now with this bounty job I can cash in the gold for an actual payday. Fallen Design has a gold conversation system, which allows players to actually get cash for turning in their gold. The real estate system is pretty awesome, but I haven't bought land or housing. I've been staying at a player-owned hotel to log out safely from the player killers.

I've entered the map name on my transporter to meet SkaryMan and the rest of the party. Usually I plan out a strategy to ration our items and squeeze out a heavy profit for everyone.

"Hey, BlackScar!" A voice greeted me as I arrived to Fortune Peak. I haven't even been in the map for a minute and the fifteen player party already have an onslaught of monsters chasing them. I really didn't want to spend my whole day dealing with this raid while I have a bounty out there in Fayte.

"Luna Abierto!" I yelled out as I began to summon my customized Mecha, Dark Arkham, a fully armed warlord with a cockpit, machine guns, and rocket launchers. Black painted with red highlights looking like death became a cyborg. I hopped into the Mecha and began my assault on the creatures. The whirring sound of the gatling guns made sure they understood that I meant business.  All of my targets began getting terminated and dissolved into code. Items of all rarities began dropping along with gold.

As the last creature fell, a larger monster made its way toward us looking very bloodthirsty.

"So you chose not to wait I assume." I said as I exited Dark Arkham.

"Can we talk later?!" One of the party members, Phorword, frantically asked while he ran away from the raging beast. No one had their arms ready causing a lot of us to get caught off guard by its attacks. I quickly raised my pistols and began firing at the boss' face. The damage scale varied between normal and critical with each shot. Unfortunately, the creature's health bar struggled to decrease.

"What the hell are you guys waiting for?!" I asked while I jumped back to reload my weapons.

"I'm on it," SkaryMan alerted me as he lunged with his steam-powered epic blade, "Berserk Storm!" His sword strikes became heavy and quick as he laid assault to the monster's body, hoping to buy us some time to ready our next offense.

"Everyone rain some death on him!", Phorword yelled out.

One by one each party member did their skills and magic spells to leave as much damage as possible. Soon after what seemed like hours, the raid boss' health began to get in the yellow zone. As I began to start my bullet barrage I was interrupted by a sight of what I've been hoping to see all day, Wyrm. He was soloing the raid map for some items for his next player killing venture, and here I am about to be paid to stop him. Obviously, I couldn't leave my group in the dust with this behemoth bastard.

"Execute Vizer-X!" I demanded to my engineer assistant, Molotov, an adorable robot orb that follows me everywhere I go. Molotov's "eyes" began to glow and unleash a blue beam that showed a hologram design of a turret. After I selected a place to plant it, the hologram began to construct itself into a physical version of the blueprint.

"Take care of this for me, buddy" I smoothly said to the turret.

"Hey, where are you heading off to?" SkaryMan said with a look of desperation.

"I got a side quest to complete." I said without turning back to my party. Let's see what happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force.
